Burmese lorry
An omnipresent Burmese lorry, near the Pakokku jetty. These diesel trucks, which have been modified to run on one piston, have been a fixture in Burma since World War II. Most of them are very old, incredibly noisy, and kept operational with a mish-mash of scavenged Chinese, Indian, American, Japanese, and Russian components.
