Road to Kaza
Rolf took this shot during a nerve-wracking 12 hour bus trip from Yangthang to Kaza in Himachal Pradesh. Late-winter rockslides had destroyed the road in many places, and — at the moment this photo was taken — passengers were being forced to collect their possessions and navigate a 800-meter washout on foot.
