Faces of Mongolia
In the summer of 2001, Rolf and his parents traveled the Mongolian steppe. Herdsmen since antiquity, many Mongolians virtually live on their horses — and Team Potts met plenty such nomads en route to Karakorum from Ulan Bator. Here are a few of the Mongolian faces from the Potts' sojourn — primarily from a working ger (Mongolian felt tent) camp near Elstei and a community horse race near the town of Erdensant.
